How many hours should one wear their custom dentures per day?
The suggested guideline is that you should wear your custom dentures throughout the whole day except at night when you should remove them because the gums need to relax. Your dentist will give you instructions on your particular denture.
What should be avoided once you have got your custom dentures?
Don’t bite or chew anything hard for some time after getting your dentures and never try adjusting them yourself. Make sure to go for follow-up visits as they play an important role.
How much time would it take you to adjust to the new dentures?
You will adjust to them completely within a maximum of two or three months.
